Our mission:

To promote lifelong oral health by preventing and reducing dental caries in children through evidence-based research, innovative prevention strategies, and collaborative community engagement.


Our aims:

              1.          Conduct Interdisciplinary Research

Investigate the biological, behavioral, social, and environmental factors contributing to dental caries in children.

              2.          Develop and Evaluate Prevention Strategies

Design and test innovative caries prevention programs, including oral hygiene education, dietary interventions, fluoride use, and sealants.

              3.          Enhance Early Detection and Diagnosis

Improve tools and techniques for early identification of dental caries in pediatric populations, especially in underserved communities.

              4.          Promote Public Awareness and Education

Raise awareness among parents, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers about the importance of early oral health care.

              5.          Inform Policy and Practice

Translate research findings into actionable guidelines and advocate for policies that support pediatric oral health at local, national, and global levels.

              6.          Foster Community and Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with schools, dental professionals, public health agencies, and community organizations to implement and sustain oral health programs.​
